The story of Larry Itliong is told in a new musical embodying the heart, spirit, and history of Filipino Americans with an all Filipino American cast, crew, and creative team. Hannah joined on as an Associate Director and Associate Choreographer in this beautiful love letter to Filipino American history and those left out of American history.

Based on a true story, Fragments is the story of Herta, an elderly woman struggling with Alzheimer’s in a British Care Home. As the disease ravages her mind and spirit, Herta is asked to confront painful memories of her childhood in Nazi occupied Austria, whilst trying to reconnect with her estranged daughter Lynn. It’s a journey of a search to belong, and questions how much of ourselves we must give to the ones we love the most.
Adapted for COVID - the story is played in an immersive audio form as the audience observes on the stage in front of them Herta’s younger selves reliving her memories through dance. Projections of Herta in the present day reveal the interaction of memory, dementia, and processing her past.
